In 2012, Michael retired from his first career after 27 years as a Fire Captain for the City of Huntington Beach, California. During that time, he was very active in the department’s charity events. He served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for 17 years, and was Firefighter of the Year in 2007. He moved to Las Vegas after he retired, and was excited to be directly involved in the acquisition process as their new home was being built. In addition to helping people with their home buying process, Michael is very familiar with the emotionally charged process of real estate as he has personally purchased and sold several homes. He has created a process of helping his clients manage expectations, emotional considerations, with direct and honest communication because he’s done it for himself on a personal level.
Prior to committing to real estate as a profession, Michael was asked for his opinion by family and friends as they relocated to Las Vegas. Before becoming a licensee, he actually found homes before their realtors did. Since joining Keller Williams in February of 2017, he immediately found success, becoming, “Rookie of the Year” in 2017. Michael’s success has enabled him to be in the top 5 individual agents since he started, averaging 16 sales per year, and every client becomes a close friend. He continues to be active in the community as well, he started a “Stuff the Bus” toy drive in 2017 and has collected 1,000 toys per year for The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation.
With Michael’s history and ability of saving lives, he has brought those talents into his new career; assisting families in finding their dream homes. As a retired Fire Captain, there is NO Real Estate Emergency that he cannot handle.
